thank god its out of the senate and wow the trolls come out today on this forum just a comment to drewbot i would of been a good idea to pay for it with stimulus money if there was actual money left but the only money left from that has already been contracted out but the contract hasnt been completed yet so the money hasnt left yet and if u or i cant break a contract what gives government the right to break one

would you call someone a troll for telling the truth of for making up stuff and saying the the republicans were forcing the senate to wait 30 hours before they vote when that in fact was never the case?

so now you are admitting that you were making crap up when you said the republicans would not allow a vote for 30 hours,

how about an apology to all the people you tried to mislead.

no the vote is final and on table to send to house

  • Comm_reply
    Leary1980 07/21/2010 2:10pm

    The way it works is:

1.The Senate has to pass it (that happened today)
2.The House of Reps has to pass it (they are voting tomorrow)
3.The bill than goes to my man Obama who will sign it immediately (this should also happen tomorrow)
4.As soon as the bill is law, states will implement the retro payout policy which will vary according to your situation and your state)
5.Everybody vote Democrat and the middle class will be alright

  • Reader12 07/21/2010 2:08pm

amendments???. I hope they didn’t add any amendments that the House won’t like.

  • Comm_reply
    juju39567 07/21/2010 2:11pm

the only amendments they made was cutting alot of what the house had in the bill they passed originally not supposed to have any problems passing in house of reps. they have on schedule to vote on it tomorrow and send to president

  • Christine58 07/21/2010 2:09pm

What time is the House voting tomorrow?

OBAMA HANDS ARE NOT REALLY TIED; COULD ISSUE AN IMMEDIATE EXECUTIVE ORDER TO PROVIDE UNEMPLOYMENT FOR 99’ERS…

(Refer to my full comments at http://all247news.com/unemployment-extension-2010-update-is-there-hope-for-tier-5-99ers/2241/comment-page-1/#comment-3421]

I take exception to a law expert saying to AOL News that Pres. Obama’s hands are tied, on Executive Order to create Tier 5.

Left out, every pres. executive order has naysayers, Mr. Obama’s hands are NOT really tied, he COULD issue executive order, anytime, as he is president, executive order would become law IMMEDIATELY.

It was appalling to see Pres. Obama do politically-motivated photo opp with 3 unemployed workers, bashing minority party. In truth, majority party had votes, as did with health care. Obama could have did pres. exec. order to extend unemployment expiration date, and add unemployment weeks past 99.

People who have lost jobs, should get further unemployment funds, to keep houses, pay bills and get food.
