Thank You!

March 27, 2008 - by Donny Shaw

This morning NetSquared announced the 21 mashups for social change that have been selected for this year’s NetSquared Conference (N2Y3), and we are super excited to have be one of them. Thank you to everyone who voted for us!

We’ll be going to San Jose, California for the conference at the end of May to demonstrate OpenCongress and check out the other projects, and to vote with all the other attendees to select the top three. There’s $100,000 in development money to be spread among all the projects—we’re hoping to integrate some new data sources into OpenCongress that will make it even easier to get all the best information every senator, representative and bill in Congress.

We’re also excited to announce that three other government transparency projects (all Sunlight Foundation grantees) were also selected—Ask You Lawmaker, MAPLight.org and Metavid. Congratulations to all!
