Closing the Wealth Gap

Last month the Federal Reserve reported that in 2007 the net worth of the typical African American family was only 10 percent of the net worth of the typical white family — down from 12 percent in 2004.

Today, Mike Lillis of the Washington Independent gives an overview of what some members of Congress are proposing to deal with the wealth gap and some the problems they are encountering in trying to get their proposals passed.

    All Americans MUST make the same amount of money!!… that’s what our forefathers fought for!!! Yeah, right!!! The constitution will be a thing of the past if these clowns get their way.
