  • According to a new Quinnipiac poll, newly-minted Democrat Arlen Specter is only ahead by 3 percentage points against former Gov. Tom Ridge as the Republican candidate in 2010.
  • Illinois state labor law, like what is proposed in the Employee Free Choice Act, allows for card check union certification. A new study out from the University of Illinois find that card check in Illinois has not caused labor officials to “intimidate” workers into joining unions.
