Sen. Jeff Sessions [R, AL] will be taking over Arlen Specter vacated position as ranking member of the Judiciary Committee.

There’s a partisan SCOTUS fight a brewin’.

According to a new Quinnipiac poll, newly-minted Democrat Arlen Specter is only ahead by 3 percentage points against former Gov. Tom Ridge as the Republican candidate in 2010.
