Why would anybody, congressperson or public, *not* want this to pass? How many contracts do you personally sign that you don't read through first? Even worse when it's not a personal contract, but a law that will take effect and be enforceable over the whole of the United States population.
It's sad this resolution even needed to be stated and formalized.
This is right along the lines of other rules that we need to get our government to follow.
