I just watched Food, Inc. and would like to urge your support for a bill about meat safety, called Kevin’s law: H3160 (Kevin, a 3-year-old, died 12 days after eating a hamburger).
It is currently in committee, and has been stuck there for several years.
Please also watch Food, Inc., which takes away the curtain the food industry conglomerates have put between us and where our food comes from.

The reason why this law is still not in effect is what is wrong with this country. Money talks and it’s absolutely disgusting how our government is swayed by dollars. This is common sense but only to people (aka human beings) that are not being paid under the table by the companies poisoning people…tobacco company anyone? It can be done!!!
This is crazy. How can the goverment not support a bill that gives them power to protect the American people. This behavior should not be allowed. Goverment should have no financial ties to any institution that can be seen as persuasive. It is time for the American people to start sticking up for themselves.
I think this is bull. Everyone but children needs to watch Food, Inc. it will open your eyes to really see what is going on with our food and environment around us. I watched it and it made me mad and sick. We need to get this Kevin’s Law passed soon. We need to take our rights and land back. You will understand why after you watch this movie. It is called Food,Inc.
