WARNING: This summary is based upon a pre-publication edition of the measure provided by the House Bill Clerk and is subject to change.
Save America's Ports Act of 2006 - Prohibits, for a two-year period, the entering into a contract for the operation of a seaport or other point of entry into the United States if a party to such contract is or would be:
(1) a government that has repeatedly provided support for acts of international terrorism;
(2) a foreign terrorist organization;
(3) a foreign person who has committed, or poses a significant risk of committing, acts of terrorism; or
(4) an entity that is owned or controlled by such a government, organization, or person.
