6/27/2007--Introduced.Nuclear Terrorism Prevention Act of 2007 - Expresses the sense of Congress: (1) that the President should make the prevention of a nuclear terrorist attack on the United States of the highest priority; and (2) regarding appropriate steps to prevent nuclear terrorism.D

6/27/2007--Introduced.
Nuclear Terrorism Prevention Act of 2007 - Expresses the sense of Congress:
(1) that the President should make the prevention of a nuclear terrorist attack on the United States of the highest priority; and
(2) regarding appropriate steps to prevent nuclear terrorism.
Directs the President to designate an individual to serve in the Executive Office of the President as the Senior Advisor to the President for the Prevention of Nuclear Terrorism. States as U.S. policy that all possible steps be taken to ensure that all nuclear weapons and formula quantities of strategic special nuclear materials are secure and accounted for, and that all formula quantities of strategic special nuclear material are eliminated or secure and accounted for to a level sufficient to defeat terrorist and criminal threats. Directs the President to seek an international agreement on a global implementing standard for such policy.
Requires an annual report from the President to Congress on the security of formula quantities of strategic special nuclear material.
Authorizes appropriations for:
(1) removal of highly enriched uranium;
(2) technical nuclear forensics research and development;
(3) conversion of highly enriched uranium; and
(4) the International Atomic Energy Agency's (IAEA) Office of Nuclear Security.
