A BILL

To provide for a permanent exclusion from gross income for employer-provided educational assistance.

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

    This Act may be cited as the `Employee Educational Assistance Act of 2007'.

SEC. 2. EXCLUSION FOR EMPLOYER-PROVIDED EDUCATIONAL ASSISTANCE MADE PERMANENT.

    Section 901 of the Economic Growth and Tax Relief Reconciliation Act of 2001 shall not apply to section 411 of such Act.
