This is absurd. State Hypocrisy Reform? We need Federal Hypocrisy Reform before we start on the states.
But honestly, you're going to tell a state like Hawaii or Rhode Island that if you don't allow us to build an oil refinery, we're not going to allow you to use gas that isn't produced in your state?
Does Rep. Gohmert not see the problem with that?
Does this work the other way, too? If California starts to produce an overabundance of solar energy.. enough to power states around it, can they say "tell ya what.. when you start producing solar power, I'll share.."
