    Hopefully this bill willl pass, and not fade away like the others.

    I served in Baghdad in 2003 and draw 50% VA disability from that service. I can draw my reserve retirement at age 60 in 18 months. I am retired on fixed income and the 9 months early retirement pay would help pay the bills this year. There was no armor in my flax vest and my uniforms did not fit nor did my orders state Iraq duty, or ever get amended to show that. Only a few reservists showed up to go fight out of many called to duty. I am glad that I did answer the challenge. Thank you for remembering the ones that served in this bill.
