4/15/2008--Introduced.
Halting Airplane Noise to Give Us Peace Act of 2008 - Amends federal transportation law to:
(1) prohibit any individual (except flight crew members or flight attendants) from engaging in voice communications using a mobile communications device on a passenger aircraft during a flight; and
(2) direct the Secretary of Transportation to require all domestic and foreign air carriers to adopt this prohibition. Requires the Secretary to waive this prohibition for air carriers of foreign countries that have negotiated an alternative prohibition on voice communications using such devices during a flight.
