My name is Michele Zamagni and I am the Community Worker for the Young Parent Program of New London, CT. I work with pregnant and parenting teens who live in poverty and lack positive role models. If Congress has found that the United States has the highest teen pregnancy rate of any fully developed country, then why has this bill become stagnant? I support this bill and if there is anything that I can do to help this bill pass, please contact me.
I agree. As a high school counselor who sees pregnant teens on a daily basis, I think we need to do something. I will also volunteer to help in anyway I can.
I am a mentor at work for a well known mentoring agency in Texas. I also support this bill and would like to participate as a mentor. I hope they will take this up again.
I am a mentor via Big Brothers Big Sisters and I would love to see this bill become active. I am a grad student and doing research on teen pregancy and mentoring, there isn’t much out there. This would be a great program and I believe that it would work.
