This is not a gender specific issue, where is the equality? There has to be resources for men, counselors need to understand the types of abuse that affect men as well. There are many types of abuse, and if the feminists groups made real studies, they would show just how much abuse is perpetrated by woman as well. It takes special resources to help and abused man. Many of us do not realize it until it is much to late to help our children. It took me 14 years of my own personal time and expense to understand how abusive my ex wife is. It’s too late for my dead son.

No, this is not a gender specific issue. You must know through your experience with abuse that most abuse is perpetrated by men on women in our culture. The door for abuse happens when there is an inequality of power in a relationship, though that is not gender specific it does include more abusive men than women. Women tend to abuse children, not husbands. So sorry to hear about your son. – unrighteous-dominion.com
