there is no way any recovery program is going to pass until after the election. Guys I just figured this whole thing out!!! Pelosi is pushing this NOW, because it make the democrats look EXCELLENT when it comes time to vote. When more people see that Pelosi is “SUPPOSEDLY” trying so hard to pass a stimulus, more people will vote for Obama!! and that’s an undisputed fact. She had a perfect opportunity to add the UE to the bail-out and then again to the CR that was veto proof, and Bush even agreed to extend EU, but Pelosi was unwilling to just add that, and insisted that we add all the other pork barrel bullshit that we don’t need RIGHT THIS MINUTE. If you think about it, that’s really selfish and greedy of her. What are we supposed to do for the next 2-3 months while they figure all this shit out? 1.1 million people won’t be able to pay rent, buy food, pay bills, or do anything!!! What the hell are we supposed to do? I am furious, and anyone else who doesn’t get it is flat out stupid.

I didnt hear her or the other economists say that it would be (Although read into it what you will)and more likely it WILL be after the election seeing that there are only 22 days until the election.
I DID hear that they will be having meetings within the next few weeks – Short term but in a considered fashion, well designed and not rushed. They were unified in their discussions today.
Also quoting – It is critical that the 7 – 800,000 people who have and will exhaste(ed) their 26 weeks and 13 week extention remain supported by the unemployment system.
These are the words I heard.
