It can take a matter of hours, a couple days or weeks and months. It all depends on the URGENCY. It also depends on the squeaky wheel syndrome in Congress to get the Bill passed through and on to the Senate. It then must be passed in the Senate and lands on the President’s desk (this can be expedited) where the President must sign or veto within a certain amt of time. Once it’s signed by the President it becomes law immediately.

This is what we want to happen with this Bill. Help get our voices heard!

I’ve been out of work since Oct. 2007 & feel so discriminated against being a single (divorced) female 52 yr old Senior worker. I’ve exhausted my savings, my 401k, my initial EDD benefits and am nearly out of my Extended EDD benefits. SOMETHING HAS GOT TO HAPPEN AND SOONER RATHER THAN LATER TO HELP PEOPLE LIKE ME!

Make all the contacts you can to persuade this Bill to pass to the Senate and into law before the Congressional recess the end of September (9/26)!!

Does anyone know how long will it take to pass this bill?????
I ran out of benefits waiting for the last one to pass,
two months with no income, I thought I would loose everything, thank God it finally passed.

We need this bill moved quickly through Congress and on to the President before the 110th Congress adjourns!!
