You need to move to Texas B4 your claim expires, then you can get the Texas extension. Hurry, pack and move now before the claim expires. The weather is nice and everyone loves John and Cindy McCain

This is the reason WHY we need to ALL vote Democratic in this election:

Senate Democrats Eye ‘Magic 60’
http://news.aol.com/elections/article/senate-democrats-eye-magic-60/226875

They’re also two reasons why Democrats are talking 60 — the number of seats needed to secure filibuster-proof majority in the Senate.

Winning what’s commonly called the “magic 60” would maximize the Democrats’ ability to push through a Democratic agenda and would virtually prevent Republicans from blocking legislation on the Senate floor.

Jersey doesnt have an extension. It was cancelled because the republicans didnt fund it. They sent the money to wall st instead. NJ only has 6 months then its over, off to the homeless shelter. No more free money. Move to texas where they have 3 extensions.

Thank you Cali for the info, that’s exactly what I posted earlier if the extension is passed and your benefit year is up, I was called “misinformed” Hope it gets passed soon, I’m in same boat as you, NY here.

Not true, as I said, misinformation. I’ve been receiving the extension for weeks past my benefit year end date.

To add, you are not in California or in New York. You are in Michigan repeatedly posting false information. If there were a California person the extension would attach to the original claim as it extends it, even past the benefit year’s end. Each extension following, would also attach. I know for a fact as I received unemployment 16 months 2002 – 2003.

Since the (2008) original 13 weeks backdated to 2006, past the benefit year endings of thousands of people, were paid, and they were, so would any other claim be paid as extending the original.

Stop fabricating garbage just to keep the forum active. Your posts are rambling lies and full of purposeful spelling errors. You never change your syntax bipolar troll, you’re obvious.

(The Politico) Democratic leaders are coordinating a potential lame duck session with the Obama campaign, discussing an economic stimulus package between $100 billion and $150 billion.

Pelosi and Democratic leaders plan to unveil details at an economic forum tomorrow.

In the stimulus, Democrats are considering expansion of food stamps, extension of unemployment insurance, aid to states facing a budget crunch and billions in infrastructure spending for bridges and roads. The infrastructure spending in particular is designed to create jobs in bridge and road construction.

There is a fundamental difference, however, between Obama and Democratic leaders on one subject—how to pay for the stimulus. Democrats don’t have a “paygo” proposal while Obama would pay for the stimulus with a windfall profits tax.

Also under debate is whether the stimulus would have tax rebates or tax credits for individuals.

Rep. Frank plans economy stimulus bill in November
Sun Oct 12, 2008 11:03am EDT
WASHINGTON (Reuters) – Rep. Barney Frank said on Sunday he will put together an economic stimulus bill when Congress returns to session after the November elections, while a key Republican said he would support the effort.

Frank, chairman of the House of Representatives Financial Services Committee, said on ABC television that he would begin work on the stimulus bill in November in a “lame duck” session.

Rep. Roy Blunt, the Missouri Republican who serves as House minority leader, said he would support a stimulus plan if it did not include a massive public works program and budget bailouts for states that overspent on health care and other social programs.

“A stimulus plan that makes sense is something that i’ll be helpful with,” Blunt said, also on ABC television.

WHAT DOES AN ECONIMIST FROM PRINCETON HAVE TO DO WITH THE EXTENSION?

Anonymous 10/27/2008 9:06am

I think everyone of these recessions has been because of Reagons’s trickle down economy . 1980, 2003, 2008

Anonymous 10/27/2008 9:18am

The Treasury Department will start doling out $125 billion dollars to nine banks this week to get credit flowing again giving a lift to US markets on rising confidence that the Government’s moves would stave off a protracted recession. (((( I think they are pissing to the wind, we’re in a recession, the banks will hoard the money, and no one will want to borrow anyway.. This coming from a poor high school grad, but I think I am right!!))))

Why don’t the republicans just give up already? They are going to lose. They are just trying to squeeze out the last drops of power they have and it is pathetic.

how is waiting until january 20 to pass a stimulus acting ‘quickly’ to pump money into the economy? the short answer is: it isn’t. they are already behind in the game. it was too late yesterday.

Anonymous 10/27/2008 9:45am

Am I missing something? Were benefits extended, or are we still just hoping?

Again, if you are so smart, why have you been unemployed for a year and a half? Instead of posting misinformation and trying to confuse everyone, you could be looking for a job.

This message board at one time was useful for learning about the status of vital legislation that can mean the difference between staying in your home and being tossed out into the street.

Obviously, there are many people out of work now who have nothing better to do than to post gibberish on this board. Guess these idiots have never heard of Craigslist.
