A non-binding resolution that expresses Congress' disapproval of President Bush's January 10, 2007 plan to deploy more than 20,000 additional troops to the American-led war in Iraq. This resolution also states that Congress will continue to support the troops that are currently in Iraq, but contains no language to prevent Congress from cutting funding in the future, in order to limit the war. Since this is in the form of a concurrent resolution, it will never have the force of law, even if it is approved by Congress.
