11/13/2007--Passed House amended. Expresses support for the goals and ideals of Children's Health Month.
Reaffirms our nation's commitment to providing access to health care, ensuring preventative care, seeking cures for debilitating diseases and chronic conditions, and promoting healthy living habits for America's children.
Salutes:
(1) health care professionals who provide care and treatment for childhood illnesses; and
(2) officials who protect children from environmental health and safety risks and who educate parents, schools, and communities about health risks for children.
Encourages states, territories, and possessions of the United States to educate children about healthy living habits when they are young.
