6/5/2008--Introduced.
Oregon Badlands Wilderness Act of 2008 - Designates certain Bureau of Land Management (BLM) land in Oregon as wilderness and as a component of the National Wilderness Preservation System, which shall be known as the Oregon Badlands Wilderness. Requires any land or interest in land within the boundary of the Oregon Badlands Wilderness that is acquired by the United States to become part of the Wilderness.
Requires a specified route to be included in a corridor with a width of 25 feet which shall be be excluded from the Oregon Badlands Wilderness in order to accommodate the existing use of such route for purposes related to the training of sled dogs by Rachael Scdoris. Provides for separate land exchanges with:
(1) Ray Clarno, a landowner in Redmond, Oregon; and
(2) the Central Oregon Irrigation District in Redmond.
