This legislation correctly addresses the issue. This legislation is correct. Even the USCG agrees that it is an unnecessary bureaucratic and expensive burden on small boat operators. I hope this legislation passes.

There is no doubt the TWIC requirements are an unnecessary, burdensome & costly addition to the requirements already in place for charter boat operators.They are more than glad to help with border security watch for our country; don't make them pay more fees & go through getting a original boat build in addition to the rigors in place & high gas costs.
