this wallstreat bailout bill is going to give somewere between 500 billion and trillion dollars to people that are already millionaires. Let your reps know that if they can give billions to millionaires that they can give earned unemployments benefits the the working poor and middle class, otherwise the will be joining the unemployed.
how do we get a thread started that follows the wallstreet bailout bill, that bill is out only hope for an extension before the election

make sure your letters make note that the unemployment extension has to be included in the WSBOB it is the only way this can happen
3507 is just lip service. The democrats could get 26 weeks without breaking a sweat if they demand that it is attached to the WSBOB, WSBOB is guaranteed to pass early next week.
I have been flipping back and forth from this site to the 8687 site and I have a question, what does it mean by “a bill folding into the cr”?

I beleave it means attaching one bill to another piece of legislation, for instance the WSBOB is guaranteed to pass next week so it would be the CR. So if the democrats fold the unemployment extension into the CR it is guaranteed to pass (it is the only way it is going to pass before the election)

the only way this is going to pass is if its attached to the WSBOB, WSBOB is the only bill that is going to pass and be signed by the president before the representatives leave next week to campaign. after next week everything is over till after the election

make sure that when you make calls you let them know that this must be attached to the WSBOB (wall street bail out bill) it is the only way this can be passed next week, if nancy will attach this to the WSBOB it is garanteed to pass, if it is not attached to the WSBOB it will never pass. after next week everything is over till after the election, the WSBOB is going to cost between 500 billion and a trillion dollars after that bill there will be no money to spend.
its sad that they can give billions or tax payer money to millionaires but can’t give poor people the unemployment benefits that came out of there own pockets

I read LAST YEARwarnings that the fallout would realistically be $1 Trillion and that the government wasn’t facing this reality. Trickle down…HAH! When things started to go downhill, it took NO time for us to get walloped (loss of jobs, foreclosure, inflation, higher taxes), but it’ll take YEARS for any positive trickle-down when this all finally stabilizes. So much for the trickle-down theory.

if the dems and polosi have there way? it is up to the dems, they can refuse to let this legislation move or even come to a vote if the unemployment extension is not included. If the democrats want us to have an extision we will have it next, week no one could stop them. If we don’t get the extension the only reason will be because the democrats do not want us to get it. The democrats will probably get more votes if the extension doesn’t go through anyway
the democrats could force an additional 26 week extension nation wide if they wanted to, they have the pres and the Republicans by the balls with the WSBOB, now we get to see if they really want to help us.

If I read this correctly is states that the WSBOB will allow for 13 additional weeks but only in states at more then 6% unemployment
