A bill to provide improved aviation security, and for other purposes.
previous 110th session of congressA bill that would require all cargo transported on airplanes to be screened with a system that is at least comparable to the one used in screening luggage for passenger planes. It also calls for increased research and development of blast-proof cargo containers that could prevent damage to an airplane caused by an explosive device held in cargo.
