September 15, 2007 Senate Committee Passes Stop TB Now Act

The Stop TB Now Act (S. 968) has passed in the Senate Foreign Relations Committee. The bill will now be voted on by the entire Senate. Among curable diseases, TB is considered the greatest killer and claims 1.6 million lives a year.
