After witnessing how Ron Paul has been excluded by the mainstream media, it’s clear to me that centralized ownership of media outlets is a very bad thing. When a handful of companies can control what millions of Americans view you’re inviting censorship. The media needs to remain a place where dissenting views can be heard and not allowed to be stifled because a few wealthy and powerful individuals don’t want a particular message to be heard.
This bill reinforces that view by undoing an FCC action to eliminate media ownership restrictions.
