9/18/2008--Passed Senate without amendment. (This measure has not been amended since it was introduced. The summary of that version is repeated here.)
Designates September 2008 as National Prostate Cancer Awareness Month. Declares that the federal government has a responsibility to:
(1) raise awareness about prostate cancer screening and treatment;
(2) increase funding for prostate cancer research; and
(3) improve access to, and the quality of, health care services for detecting and treating prostate cancer.
