5/19/2009--Passed House amended. Directs the Secretary of Veterans Affairs to make grants to encourage the development of new assistive technologies for specially adapted housing for disabled veterans. Limits grant amounts to $200,000 annually per recipient. Provides that if a grant recipient is awarded a patent related to assistive technology developed with grant amounts, the Secretary shall retain no less than a 30% interest in the patent. Provides grant funds. Terminates grant authority five years after the enactment of this Act.
