    WHAT ABOUT THESE ‘OTHER PURPOSES’?????SCARY!!!!!

  • ramanajan 03/12/2009 3:52am

I assume this will be like an HCRA account. If so I think this is a good idea. I would like to see similar assistance for those taking care of elderly relatives such as older parents etc.

Things are getting way out of hand with our gov’t. They are not listening. We have got to MAKE them hear us! Any suggestions? I write my congressmen almost daily and I get an automated response email or letter. I’m sick of this! Is anyone else as tired as I am? It seems that others are speaking out as well with no response. Our gov’t officials are supposed to work for us! I am attending a ‘TEA Party’ on April 15th but who’s to say that will work? I think we need a revolt! If everyone in America stopped paying taxes would they listen? I think they would have to! We could all claim married and 9 and then refuse to pay. I don’t think that is unAmerican. I think it is revolution in its greatest, loudest form! What do you all think???? They can’t arrest the entire nation! Can they?

They can and should arrest the small group of people who are espousing sedition.

Building new prisons would be economit stimulus, and the Republicans lost the election. Get used to living in a minority.

    PRINCIPLE: AGAINST
States should take up issues like these, not the Federal Government.

  • kbfreedom 03/27/2009 10:02am

Is this an issue the government should be involved in? along with many others that should never reach this level. Why is there need to revolt? Is this country so bad off that a revolution is the only way to make them listen? Why not use the system that is in place and form the government to fit the needs of the people, instead of letting politicians run rampant doing whatever they please.

The govenment is working for the needs of the American people. The Republicans can not accept defeat.

In response to coral5353: The states have, they are called Special Needs Trusts. How they’re written, varies state by state. They need to be updated/amended afer relocating to a different state. Can be vary costly for mil families like mine that move every 3-4 years. Would be nice to have something that you can take with you wherever you go.

The qualified disabilities may need to be broadened for parents that have children with disabilities. For example, my child has asthma and allergies. She entered public school this year, but is now homeschooled because of complications surrounding her medical care in public school.

It would help this average family out if we could have any break helping us afford private school. We already have high medical bills. We are not on welfare, nor is my child.

The EPA is monitoring some schools in our area. Some public school buildings are very old (mold). Most would not have to think about the age of the building structure in which their child attends, but I do. Please help us by making private schooling more affordable.

I personally never considered asthma & allergies as a disability prior to entering public school. I thought it easy to live in victory. After many troublesome situations, I now understand the discriminatory sting.

Just another Bill {and I don’t care how good anyone thinks it sounds] that should be addressed by the Individual States, not the Federal Government. More Federal government jobs that have to paid for by the taxpayers. The Love of Power!

  • freedom 04/26/2009 8:52pm

The only part that matters any way is the american party give them a budget stay under the #s and make things better for the american people, it really is supposed to be about people anyway , when it’s done like this some points are scored.people feel better.

Stop adding more tax breaks and adopt the “Fair Tax”, the tax code is already out of hand. Make it simple. Not more complicated.

  • henhousefox 04/30/2009 1:53pm

This will help a small group of individuals, create a tax loophole for many, and will be a stop-gap until we get a flat tax approved!!!

  • qkerby 09/23/2009 5:46am

Change the whole tax system. I’d rather the government subsidize the purchases of these items for people who are considered disabled than patch a broken tax system. Flat tax or Fair Tax, but not Income Tax.
