This Bill should have 100% cosponsor approval no questions asked. If it does not, the people not supporting it are uninformed or they are poor representatives of the tax payers of the UNITED STATES of AMERICA which they take an oath to uphold the CONSTITUTION of These UNITED STATES of AMERICA.They are protecting the DECEITFUL Federal Reserve Bankers.AUDIT THE FED AND THEN PROSICUTE the criminals that have abused the power illegally handed to them in the first place. Without the FEDERAL RESERVE ACT OF 1913 we would have never needed FEDERAL INCOME TAX COINCIDENTALLY CREATED 1913 WHICH BY NOW ONLY COVERS THE INTEREST ON THE SO CALLED UNAUDITED NATIONAL DEBT.

I could not agree more. It is obvious to the constituents of non co-sponsors of this bill that they do not represent the interests of the people in their congressional districts. Keep writing them, calling them, emailing them, faxing them, and snail mailing them until they understand that we are all serious about demanding accountability of our nations finances.

To all of those that already are and continue to do so, I thank you and my family thanks you.

Is their any math majors out their? DO THE MATH HOUSE IN 1970 13,500.00 SAME HOUSE IN 2008 270,000.00 270,000.00 x .05 = 13,500.00 13,500.00 x 2000%=270,000.00 paper nickles=FEDERAL RESERVE NOTE, ANY QUESTIONS? I am not a math major but 50,000.00 in 1970 had the buying power of 1,000,000.00 today. I CALL THAT RUNAWAY INFLATION

For all that are in support of this bill I implore you to send a letter to the financial services committee. Please go to my personal blog and copy my letter that I sent them OR write your own. Email it, fax it, snail mail it, whatever you have to do (I recommend all three) to all of the members on this House Committee for Financial Services. We need these "representatives" to know that we are serious about this bill and we demand that it is approved by this committee!

There are over 170 co-sponsirs, yet how come this bill hasn't come to the floor for a vote? I see plenty of bills this year alone come to the floor with hardly any co-sponsors.

Something smells VERY FISHY with the leadership in the House of Representatives. Could they be on the bankroll of the Banksters and Federal Reserve wealth, Elitists, and Zionists that truly control this country?

We all know BOTOX PELOSI is a Liar as well as Barney Frank who controls the House Financial services, which we know he conspired to cause the Fannie/Freddie disasters.

Well, we are experiencing first hand the corruptions and collusions of Congress and the Banks/Financials.

    Disgusting... we are so screwed

Zionists? What an idiot, let me guess - the Fed is owned by a bunch of elite Jewish bankers.

How about you stop watching Zeitgeist and read a real book for a change. The Fed needs to be abolished, but conspiracy idiots like yourself ruin our cause.

I am in no way a huge Ron Paul supporter (I like some of the things he does, but most of them I oppose), but I see no harm from this bill. Auditing should be a common practice in the U.S., especially in regards to a powerful force like the Federal Reserve.

This is one of the most important Bills this year. Tell you congressperson to vote YES! Our liberties, freedom, and national security are at further risk without it.

Interest on National Debt. 39,000,000.00 per Hour Wake Up America. What could the Treasury of the UNITED STATES of AMERICA accomplish with that kind of income? Why are private bankers collecting interest on money that our government creates out of thin air through the FEDERAL RESERVE SYSTEM?

For some reason I think I'm the only one that's noticed HR 1349, The bill that would negate the effect of HR 1207 entirely.

I guess this idea of transparency is really gaining momentum. The co-sponsrrs are stuck at 179 though. My rep.(Woolsey[D-CA]) is already a co-sponsrr.

This is a good start, but we still have a long way to go before we get our house in order. It'll be interesting to see where the money has been going after the audit is complete.

I think it is 212 and then they can't delay the vote any longer. Vote already so we can vote opposition out of office in next election.

I am a registered republican that will only vote for supporters of this bill in the next election. Go Ron Paul

    Sweet! Enough cosponsors!

It will be either audit of the fed, Obama veto, shot down in the senate or a terrorist attack.

    S. 604 is substantially similar, if not identical, and already has 24 cosponsors. I suspect their attack will be to neuter it in committee.

A transparent monetary system ensures a free nation. In 1913 a great tresspass was commited against the free American people, and what followed has been two or more generations born into slavery. It is time to take back our country from international corporate oligarchs who hide in the shadows.

At least there is some movement, even in the slightest, toward accountability!! Keep the pressure on the reps and on to the Senate and President when the timing is right!

The public school system is part of the Matrix, they'll never teach anything that even approaches this topic. For this form of government to continue and thrive it needs an ignorant public.

Our Government is a bunch of Parasites living off ignorant tax payers and non tax payers that think the government should take care of their every need. So to answer your question the prospects are not good. We can all pray for a large sink hole to swallow Washington DC. taking all parasites with it.
