3/4/2009--Introduced.Amends the Omnibus Crime Control and Safe Streets Act of 1968 to authorize the Director of the Bureau of Justice Assistance to make grants and enter into contracts with state and local criminal justice agencies and nonprofit organizations to improve the identification, investigation, and prosecution of multijurisdictional criminal conspiracies or activities involving terrorism, economic crime, including financial fraud and mortgage fraud, and high-tech crime, including Internet-based crime against children and child pornography.
