This bill will do nothing accept make p2p software harder to use.
This bill is an anti-p2p bill… No real p2p software forces you to install it.
No real p2p software goes out of it’s way to collect and share personal information.
this bill is unnecessary and harmful to sharing applications of all types.
The regulations listed in this bill are already within the user-agreement which must be accepted at installation. The directories which are available to be browsed by computers other than the user’s are easily changed in the preferences of the program itself. This bill is essentially more unfunded regulation that will most likely not be enforced.
