The government can’t even run the post office at a profit you really trust them with your health care?

National Health Insurance? That’s a joke, in it’s first year it would wind up needing a bailout….but where would that come from? It’s already a government entity. Oh yeah, that’s right….increased taxes on the citizens of this nation.

1) Treatment of dental, auxilary, etc. treatments can be refused if budget is low
2) The Administrator gets to decide how many patients a doctor can treat
3) Rates based on class of locality
5) If the state doesn’t administer plan, the Fed takes over
6) 501 a4 pay for Board member is not < Level 5 and not > Level 4 – is that possible? I believe this must be a typo.
7) 901 (11) a wife is a dependent but a husband is only a dependent if he is diabled? Are we regressing to the 1700’s?

This bill is bad for Americans. We already have health care programs for the elderly, the children, the needy, and the under-employed. We don’t need this bill.

I noticed only race, creed, and sex are protected classes that cannot be discriminated against in the rendering of services. Washington loves to find ways to spend our money. I believe we should take care of our poor CITIZENS but this looks like more bureaucracy and wasteful spending.

After working at an emergency room, I understand that Americans AND illegals are getting free healthcare already. No one can be turned away from an ER, for inability to pay…not even the homeless on a cold night.

One trillion dollars for 1/3 of the uninsured. This really makes a lot of sense. Three trillion dollars for All of the uninsured. WOW!!! Of course, when asked where the money would come from, the only answer that I heard was " the congress will find a way". SOCIALISM, HERE WE COME!!! People, WE need to STAND UP!!! WAKE UP AMERICA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If the government were put in charge of the desert, there would soon be a shortage of sand. Logically, if we were to put it in charge of our health care, you do the math. Of course, since they will need money to make the best health care on the planet dry up and disappear, we will be forced to put them in charge of our wallets, too. Guess what happens then … oh yeah, a shortage of money for all of us.

Please let this Bill pass. We need so desperately to change the way the health care system is run. Under this bill you are still more than welcome to use private practice and insurance if you wish. If your willing to let the government provide police, fire, military, civil engineering, sanitation, and public education then why isn’t health care also a priority? I would like to hope that the richest and most powerful country in the world could at least give its citizens access to health care?

Floodk, the richest and most powerful country in the world does give its citizens access to health care, why do you want others to provide it for them? Do you do your job for free? Will you do it for half of what you make right now? No because that would be stupid. Why in the world do you think this should or will be the case for the health insurance industry? Insurance and health care, they aren’t rights. They are privileges. The only guarantee authorized by the Constitution is that you will have the opportunity to provide these things for yourself, not to have it provided for you.
