This bill would be unnecessary if a large majority of Americans were to implement their right to bear arms. Citizens could then protect themselves, their family and State rather than falling into a sheepish society that depends on a “BIG BROTHER” government to protect us on our own home front with programs like the one proposed in this bill, which essentially end up infringing on our constitutional rights and freedoms. Hence “the Second Amendment”, A well-regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a Free State, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed. I will contend, that our Congress should protect our national borders from invaders and enemies as provided for in the Constitution by whatever means necessary, without infringing on American citizens inalienable or Constitutional rights.

This bill EXPANDS the TSA into ALL public ground transportation including rail, bus, subway, etc. It sets up the money and employee structure for ‘surface transportation security inspectors’ with fully-staffed primary and secondary field offices. Plus bomb-sniffing dogs (probably drugs-sniffers too, doesn’t say). I’m shocked Ron Paul voted FOR it..?

This bill mentions the terrorist acts in Madrid, London, and Mumbai. Investigative journalists Wayne Madsen, Paul Joseph Watson, Kurt Nimmo, and others proved those acts were 100% government-run operations done for this very purpose: TO ENACT RESTRICTIVE LEGISLATION worldwide that increases surveillance of citizens & monitors their movements.

Soon all highways will be toll roads requiring REAL ID at the checkpoints—all forms of transportation will require body scans and REAL ID—we will be stuck in our own areas. The global elite will continue jetting round the world without all us commoners messing up their views.

I’m glad to see Ron Paul did NOT vote for the final form of this bill. Thank you Dr. Paul! I have no idea what I saw when I posted the above comment but as I recall, there were only 5 ‘nay’ votes and he wasn’t one of them. Perhaps it was on one of the amendments? Please forgive my mistake.
