Please don’t the special interest destroy America’s Rail.
I hear time and time again “Railroads need to be treated like any other buisness”. The problem with that is railroads are not just like any other buisness. Railroads are capital intensive. Most of Americas’s railroads fund and maintain their own right of ways without tax dollars or subsidies. They rely on investment dollars and simply making a profit. Since when did making a profit become wrong in this country? I seriously doubt industries on the C.U.R.E. band wagon are being are busted by those bad old railroads. Now days, every one is looking for a hand out.
