    The federal government cannot keep a lid on its own costs. What make them thing they have any right to judge the costs of carriers?

    Furthermore, there is no authority in the US Constitution for the Feds to regulate the price of anything. While they generally ignore that prohibition, there is no reason to allow them to get away with it in this case.
