    Good piece of legislation for transparency of library fundraising. While I agree with Rep. Gohmert that 5 years in prison seems to harsh, I still support because that sentence will be a significant deterrent.

    What’s the point in it? Sounds like we just want to expose donors to public scrutiny while accomplishing nothing else. May even hamper a library’s ability to raise funds. Transparency is great, but not where it is not necessary.

    My question is it in the expense of tax payer money? I hope not. I support it in the philosophy of transparency though.
