President Obama is definitely pro-active in fighting Medicare fraud. In October alone were several incitements were made by multi-phase enforcement and regulatory effort knows as the “HEAT” initiative (Health Care Fraud Prevention and Enforcement Action Team), that is designed to reduce the potential for Medicare and Medicaid fraud.

There’s plenty of money to be found in fraud. If we would eliminate fraud, we could reverse all the spending and deficits inflicted upon this nation since January. Obama and his supporters, everything they say and do is fraud. That’s the fraud we, as Americans, need to eliminate. Obama speaks the truth, only the actual meaning is not being pursued. This intentional fraud on the American people is no doubt something that the statists and fascists laugh about amongst themselves, on how very clever they are in exploiting the naivete of people who still believe their statesmen could never be so very corrupt. I have no such illusions, nor did our Founders. America, fortunately, is waking up to this threat to our liberties. Come Tuesday, and then come Thursday, the country and our alleged representatives are going to get a taste of genuine Americanism.
If you believe the kool-aid that alleges abortion isn’t a part of this bill, then read this paragraph from Cecile Richards’ e-mail – she’s the president of Planned Parenthood: “Because of relentless pressure from dedicated supporters like you, every version of the bills out there right now is free of the dangerous amendments anti-choice members of Congress tried to attach to health care reform. It’s taken a lot of small steps and individual efforts to come as far as we have, and we thank you for your efforts.”
Thus, there is NO prohibition of abortion in this bill. If you want to know the reality, listen to what pro-abortionists tell their friends. As a woman, I RESENT this bill, which will infringe on my personal liberties as well as possibly bankrupt this nation, and will certainly help create an American fascist state, and Richards’ tactics of telling me this is about “women’s” health. I NEVER elected her to represent me and my opinions.

So everyone in America should pay for your family’s healthcare? I think not. We raised $25,000 in a benefit for my friend’s cancer bills in ONE weekend. I think American’s need to get off their behinds and remove their hand from in front of the rest of the Americans. What the heck happened to this country?
Also, freedom. Yeah, I want the FREEDOM from paying your debt and everyone elses. Maybe the state’s should lift the ban on intrastate insurance and put the free market back into the insurance industry. —Now THAT gives you your freedom AND choice and I’M not footing the bill (and neither is your company).

No, the insurance company makes money by keeping costs down.
Denying reasonable claims only helps if the person being denied is too weak and stupid to sue for violation of the policy. Because such lawsuits generally cost orders of magnitude more than the procedure being denied, insurance companies generally only get stupid when they think you won’t enforce your rights.
The solution: Either save up a couple hundred bucks, and put a family lawyer on retainer so that if the insurance company gets stupid, the lawyer can contact them to point out their folly. Or (the more work less money option) learn your state’s insurance law and your policy very well, and be ready to make the arguments yourself — if you can’t get anywhere in a reasonable amount of time (and your insurance company actually is in the wrong) you can probably get a decent lawyer to take your case on contingency.
Actually, it doesn’t even take a lawyer. Just a phone call to the insurance company. Most denials are the result of procedures not being coded properly, or the insurance company would like more information about the procedure.

Explain to me how healthcare is a right and how your health is my responsibility. Perhaps you should stop cashing your welfare check and give the money back.
If you don’t have any civic duty or compassion for others then do it for your own selfish pocket book. Health care will cost you money no matter what happens, but to ensure better health for others will reduce your costs. Think of the anti smoking campaigns and remember that smoking cost all Americans money. Healthcare as a right is a concept that I support, but if you don’t feel that your family should have that right then I only hope you don’t have to face a major health crisis within your family without government help. No one is asking for a welfare check, we just want the best system for the money we already spend.
You are confusing civic duty and compassion with socialism (which has been sold to many other civilizations as a compassion based form of government). I feel that it is my civic duty to hold governments accountable to exercise it’s duties and not extend it’s reach outside of what is called for by the constitution. I feel that I can serve my neighbors better by helping them directly instead of taking all of the money that I would spend on consumer products (such as health insurance, among a long list of others) and sending it to Washington and hoping that they dole it out in a way that is compassionate and civic minded. I happen to think you are naive to think this money is going to anything other than the purchase of power. It is a proven impossibility that the government can run healthcare as well as private industry. That is from a quality and an efficiency measure.

I’m awaiting the new legislation that will provide subsidies for firearm purchases. If you believe health care is a right under the Constitution and as such should be government subsidized, then you should have no problem at all with the government giving all of us money for firearms.
The difference is of course that firearms are an actual right under the 2nd Amendment, whereas health care is not in the Constitution and the “right” basis relies on liberal court interpretation. Using this logic, things we need to survive like housing, electrical power, food, water, etc. are all “rights” and should be government subsidized. BTW, the government should not be subsidizing health care or firearms.
There is somewhat of a precedent since it says that no private insurance will be available after 2013, conveniently right after the next presidential election. Health insurance is not a right, there is nothing in law or constitution anywhere that guarantees you a health insurance card. If you’re trying to make that leap from the “promote the general welfare” clause in the preamble of the constitution you are idiotic at best. The preamble is simply the preface to the constituion and doesn’t outline any specific law or right. It references what they hoped to achieve with the specifics that were written into the constitution. Free healthcare isn’t in there.

One way to keep costs down is by denying expensive healthcare. It’s a great way to make money! Charge for a service you under provide!
Think about what you are saying. You want to take your health care financial coverage away from someone with whom you have legal recourse in the courts and give it to big government who you cannot sue and who has the power to fine you and/or put you in jail. How stupid is that? They both will control cost by denying you services

You do realize that you first quoted something that wants freedom FROM government…Its sole purpose was to protect individuals from government power…and then your next words are “If we do not EMPOWER our government…”
Educated dummies…It is evident that this is what America is full of.
1.) Right to life – Where is the lack of health coverage impeding on your right to live? Did the founders have health care back in the day?
2.) Right to liberty – You obviously don’t even know what liberty is…
3.) PURSUIT of happiness – we are not guaranteed happiness. Just figured I would point this out.
The Declaration of Independence is not a legal document in this country. It is just that, a declaration of our independence. It holds no legal precedent and therefore no legal standing.
Might I also add, that no where in the Constitution does it grant the right of the government to empower it’s self. This is not how the founders of this country intended our country to be.
I would also like to highlight a simple phrase “pursuit of happiness”. Do you wonder why the Declaration of Independence doesnt say “guaranteed happiness”? Simply put, the Government cannot in any sense guarantee your happiness. Simply affording you the constitutionally guaranteed rights is the only thing that the government can do to enable your pursuit of happiness. No person or entity can guarantee happiness.
In the same way, affording the government the opportunity to provide reasonable assurances for the health of it’s citizens is both unattainable and ridiculous. If you think that this Health Insurance Reform bill will do that, then your just as delusional as the President and members of Congress who envisioned this.

You don’t pay for her family’s healthcare. Unless they make less than 4 times the federal poverty level (4*14,570 for a family of 2), they cannot receive any subsidies.
Even if they only make 3 times the FPL ($43,710/year), the subsidy is only the average of the 3 cheapest basic plans in their area minus 10% of their annual income.
Sounds like there is a simple solution for your problem that the Republicans could get you and it is called Insurance access across state lines. BCBS has a monopoly within each state. With competitve pricing your insurance and the rates that go with competition would have been there for you!
That idea didn’t work out with the credit lenders.
Sorry…Allowing the sale of insurance across state lines would do nothing to correct the high cost of insurance problem. Health insurers would flock to the states with the least amount consumer based regulation and knock themselves out thinking of new ways to less for more.
Can you imagine the difficulty and clerical effort that someone protesting unfair treatment would have pressing their case with an insurance commissioner several states away?

They can do it with all other types of insurance. Auto, life, property, etc… there is no sensible reason why health insurance can’t go across state lines as well.
Because of the ablity to cross state lines with my auto insurance, and property insurance I get exellent rates and can pick and choose which company I feel will treat me best. With health insurance the way it is I get BCBS, if I don’t like it tough crap I’m stuck. And with no competition they can pretty much charge whatever they want.
The “difficulty and clerical effort” would be the same as with any other insurance company.
The Democrat health care bill is strictly a huge power grab period.
You’re options won’t be any better when you end up stuck between BCBS and Wellstone.
