So how long do you folks think it will take before the results of this vote reach the people?

btw… i’m just being sarcastic to make a point..

nothing EVER is worth turning to sin and giving into the devil for…

NOTHING!!

don’t do it friend… the “earthly” matters mean nothing compared to what awaits the believer..

I figured it was something like that. Did they say you’d be able to use the automated system from here out? I’m in class with another that’s having the same issue. Did they let you file your weeks previous that you hadn’t filed?

gantoine 07/20/2010 10:02am

Now it has to go back to the House for approval. Hopefully, we will have a check by next week at the latest. And, a job soon.lol

minimoe 07/20/2010 10:01am

Now keep in mind the senate still has to vote on it again.. That vote was just a vote to see if they would vote on it finally within next 30 hours.. Then has to go to the House for another vote there

jrhill 07/11/2010 8:21am

why don’t we just all denounce our US Citizenship, move to Mexico and become a Mexican citizen?

Then we can just sneak across the border and go to California like the other 15 million illegals..

Definitely be able to find a job, plus free food, free education, $2,500 towards a new car, free health-care, free housing and free cash assistance each month!! Can’t beat that deal can ya?

As long as there are taxpayers willing to work and pay taxes, the Dems and phony Republicans in congress will keep dishing us out freebies hand over fist.

Right now they are scheming and plotting to come up with an Amnesty bill that will make each one of us “instant US Citizens” for sneaking into the US from over the boarder. This bill will surely be packed full of all kinds of benefits and goodies! As well as allowing us to vote, so we can make sure the Democrats and phony Republicans stay in power for ever and ever…

This may be our last hope… what do you guys think?

Let me say again, this is the most disorganized mess I’ve ever seen. How many of these Senators would get voted off the island for this in corporate America? Look it’s social hour for the kiddies!

This system needs completely reworked. If they were half as organized as a business needs to be, they could accomplish a lot more and work 1 day a week. I could go on and on with ideas, but until the House and Senate are full of common sense Americans, there’s no use.

Yes I agree with you.I’m also a 99er and so far I know that the Congrees will pass that bill but only extending the deadline for those already in the extensions. So we the 99ers are out of that legislation.Yesterday at 2:00 pm EST,there was a representative from MAYDAY S.O.S and all the others organizations that are fighting to get a Tier 5 named ISSA DECKER who was in the office of senator Reid handling 25,000 petitions signed for all the 99ers,hoping to get heard from congrees and be added to the amendment to H.R.4213.

I feel like I am sitting on pins and needles

lordgotmilk 07/11/2010 7:27am

Today is the day to push. I have written Voinovich and Reid. I urge you all to write Reid about bringing compromise to the table. If you have a Republican Senator, I urge you all to write asking them to bring compromise to the table and if compromise fails, to get this passed. It is the single-most important state-side issue at the moment. It’s an investment in the future of this country and the workers who want to get back to work.

One flipped vote is needed to get this out of the filibuster. If we all send those mails today, we give them something to think about tomorrow. Their point is noted, we need to reign in spending, but not on the backs of those of us who are unemployed through no fault of our own, who are looking for work daily and more than fulfilling our commitment to try to find work, and who have been responsible tax payers for all of our lives.

Stand up and be heard Today!

called ODJFS back yesterday on 7/6, (still unable to file online anymore) tried to use the “phone” automated system, I entered my SS and PIN and then it told me that “I am unable to file a claim without speaking with a service rep”.

After about a 20-25 minute wait it transferred me to a rep whom helped me file my claim online. It basically was a “human” question & answer version of the online filing form. He told me that he had to “override” the system manually to allow me to file my claim. But it looks like everything went through.

Now it’s just a waiting game for congress to pass some legislation…

I hope this info is helpful for others. Keep the hope and faith!!

Take care..

No we need 60 again for the actual Senate vote.. Everything must remain the same.. Status quo

codemoney 07/11/2010 6:16am

I believe the soonest that this will be acted on is August since the WV legislature has to decide to let the govenor appoint someone.

minimoe 07/20/2010 9:46am

I thought they usualy had a tally of the votes on the screen?? Or is that only in the House or something?

Colorado, looks like we will see nothing until mid to late next week

“Colorado Dept. of Labor & Employment Since the recent extension we have paid over $44 million in federal and state extended benefit payments. Programming for state extended benefits 2 is near completion and payments will begin in 5-7 business days.”

You say ODJFS…that tells me that your are an Ohioan. Me too. I was told to file every week. It can’t be done online, so I have to call my regional center and go through the phone file process, but I’ve filed each week. They told me that if an extension of benefits is put into place, it’s the only way they can pay it retroactively. They told me that if I didn’t file each week that I’d not be eligible for the payments that I’d missed due to this.

If you’re being told otherwise in Ohio, call in to the automated system each week anyways to file. At least it covers your back.

But that was to start Tier 2.

This does not add any additional tiers. It also doesn’t include the $25 extra. It does include a ton of pork barrel projects along with some amendments that were previously added to assure that the bill didn’t get passed.

AHA! He’s not the “Senatorial Seat” replacement.. just a replacement on the Homeland Security Appropriations board… big difference

this is not the replacement we are looking for… move along, move along…
