I am a white, law abiding, gun owning, citizen. This racsist hogwash view will do nothing to help us retain our right to own guns. It will convince the other side they have a reason.
This is war. Do not be deceived or let it be put down under not ‘politically correct’. This is an all-out assault on what our founding fathers, and so many others, have put their lives’ on the line to defend. The first and foremost way for a government to control the people has always been to disarm them.

What is really sad is that so many otherwise good and decent law enforcement personnel will die trying to enforce such a stupid law should it ever come to pass. I will engage with all the force and tactics available to me if necessary.
Really, what does this bill accomplish? NOTHING!! The criminals will still get the guns. The kids that want the guns will still get them, and at that point will send their mother or father to jail because the child has seen where the hide the keys for the gun cabinet, or found out the code for the gun safe. So what does this accomplish? A lot more headache for the law abiding citizen. And it begins! No doubt this is only the beginning.
Do “they” even know what the second amendment is? JEEZ!

All of the campaign adds in Colorado said that Obama supported the second amendment and would not take our guns.
Obama promised a lot of things in his advertisements. All political advertisements are simply propaganda to sway those too apathetic to do their own research. Had anybody done their research, Obama would have had ZERO chance of being elected.
He is just wind and water.
He will state emphatically and poetically that this Bill is to protect our children and that it is not an infringement upon our rights. And because he says it, his uniformed flock will believe him.

I have to admit, I figured, at least some of these fact were bogus. I some surfing and found that ALL of them are true. Most of them I found at the Washington Post website.

They must be truly fools that think all the new firearms and mass ammunition being bought into private citizens hands will be turned in if they create this atrocity. I dare say this is the best anti-law and order campaign they could launch short of simply abolishing all the law enforcement agencies effective immediately. Grow up and leave citizens and our rights alone.

what I see in this bill is one more step to ban all guns. looks like they are wanting to find out what doors to kick down first.
Our forefathers wrote The Bill of Rights and the US Constitution for a reason. The United States of America is a country of democracy, not socialism. There is a reason why America has a judicial system as it is to protect the innocent. The problem I see is over the past 10 to 20 years has been in the judicial system it is slowly degrading. Our prisons are overloaded with criminals on death row because they are permitted to unlimited appeals. In Babylon days the saying, “an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth” originated. That phrase is also spoken today in The Book of Matthew 5:38. “Ye have heard that it hath been said, An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth.” (King James Version) The definition of that phrase is, “The notion that for every wrong done there should be a compensating measure of justice.” Our country can no longer afford to permit criminals freely walk on the streets. All state and federal justices must protect America including the law abiding citizens who reside in it.

Justice? I spent 2yrs locked-up for defending myself and my family in our HOME…got charged with manslaughter at first, then upgraded to 2nd degree murder, then downgraded to manslaughter, then finally a best-interest plea offer of neg. homicide after sitting in jail for 2 years without the benefit of trial or constitutional rights…..for what….. defending my home & family as guaranteed by the US Constitution…what a joke this country and it’s laws has become!
1. If only we could go back to the good ol’ days where what we did and said meant something! When do we start punishing the “wrong”, again? When do we stop punishing the “right”/the actual victims? Not every one can be a victim, but when those in jail receive a better meal, recreation, free use of our utilities, an education and rights (way more than the hard working tax payers & our children receive) something is horribly wrong.
2. There will NEVER be a President that everyone can be completely satisfied with, but we can not lose sight of “We the People”…NEVER. Everything this Nation was created on started from one source – our Heavenly Father. You know the devil is busy when a mere person or persons are bold enough to stand up to God. I quiver just thinking about that.
