I’d like to live to see the day when legislators such as this one who introduce bill’s that thearten the founding principels of this country would be dragged out of the House of Representatives, Charged with Treason Agianst the People of the United States of American, and impresoned in a super MAX for the rest of their miserable lives.

the day we stop honoring the principels our founding fathers established in 1771, we stop being a free democracy……

Amongst these posts I found a most interesting post………………. "I don’t understand America’s love affair with fire arms, specially guns. In most civilized contries in the world, gun owners, or person that poses one, are not considered very highly in society, for various reasons of course. I think we should start evolving from the wild, wild, west era. "……………… Now as I stated before I am a Peace Officer. I disagree with what this post and what President Obama says about us being a civilized nation. Civilized people do not murder, rape, abuse or rob one another. A civilized society would not have sexual predators and people who prey upon the elderly. The real fact is that the police are not everywhere at all time to protect the people. Sometimes the people need to protect themselves. This world is anything but civilized.

The democrats want complete confiscation so they can remove the threat of opposition of the very people they will oppress. Hitler did the same. The 2nd Amendment clearly states that all US Citizens are guaranteed the right to own weapons – including guns – for the purpose of mobilization and overthrow of the government, should that government become tyrannical. It is only a tyrannical government that wishes to remove the rights of gun ownership from its citizens – as it is only a tyrannical government that has anything to fear from an armed populace.

The bill does not prohibit people from owning a gun? At what point does the governing body decide that your or I are not of “sound mind”. That is a purely subjective observation on anyone’s part. It could be that one does not think that I’m in my right mind simply because I do something they don’t like – smoke, drink, own old cars, maybe because I like dogs instead of cats. Accountability I can go for, but for them to create a government position to decide on the soundmindedness of its citizens is preposterous.

Guns don’t kill people, people kill people. Well, sort of, I’m a Desert Storm Vet and a CHL holder. I have yet to find that the law abiding citizen is the one running out to the local pak’n’sak just to steal a pack of cigs and a beer. Criminals don’t care about gun control laws or licensing. THEY’RE CRIMINALS! Strengthen the laws that hold criminals accountable, not the ones for law abiding citizens! If a guy holds up a pac’n’sak for cigs and beer, don’t slap him on the wrist and let him loose after 90 days for good behavior, send him up the river for 5 to 10 without parrole. Murder anyone? capital punnishment applies, period.
Making all gun owners have to be licensed is just rediculous. The bureaucracy already in place does nothing but hamper the reasonable safety policies also already in place. Stricter enforcement of existing law, without loopholes and third and fourth and fifth chances, is a much better approach.

The Canadaians and other countries have done this process and all it has done is cost a large amount of money with no return.
What is gained by knowing who has a firearms. The poeple who do register are not the ones using firearms for the wrong use. SHould we registar all knifes they kill people as well. Don’t focus on the tool but who is using the tool. This law was developed by a tool.

What a crock! Law abiding citizens already obey the laws. Many of the issues covered in this bill are already covered in one form or another in other federal or state laws.
NOTHING in this bill, as it is explained here, will have the least impact on a criminal’s willingness to procure or use a weapon. It will certainly NOT prevent a person who is willing to engage in criminal behavior from finding or using one.
We don’t need more laws, we need definitive and uniform enforcement of the laws already on the books.

This is why I will never vote for a Democrat period. Too bad too many folks voted for their wallets on false promises and a false hope of change of the Democratic party. Whith the economy,jobs(unemployment),banking and housing issues the way they are its a crying shame that these people waste our tax payer money, waste time and resourses on this non-effecting criminals one bit only us legal gun owners piece of trash they call a bill. I hope we can bump these worthless people out of office like in the 90’s ASAP!!

Hopefully. But we can’t count on the S.C. They are the parachute. That’s not a plan to make. We fight it before it gets there… all the way, every step. And we make sure that moron that submitted the bill gets voted out of office the first chance we get. To do that we need a strong candidate to put in his place, to run against him.

The most horrible thing about this is if there can a day something like this passed, the amount of lost life would be tragic.
Law abiding, America loving citizens would instantly become criminals in the eyes of the legal system they faithfully support and abide by.
A stroke of a pen would spill the blood of the very backbone of America, both citizens and the ones who dutifully enforce its laws.

Was just contacted by the NRA for a donation for this Bill so I guess that the time is growing NIGH, we need to help the NRA as much as possible to kill this Bill. So attention can be turned to the other Bills enacted by the Liberals that are trying to strip us of our rights.

Keep reading the fine print. Yes, it states that you must be of sound mind and body. It also states that you must submit to a mental and physical evaluation at the whem of the government should there be any question is your registration of gun ownership. Are you really willing to agree to such government intervention?? Revolution is a definite possibility in my mind.

This bill only gives information on law abiding citizens for the government to later track down and take those guns away. It will not deter the sale of guns to criminals and it will not take the guns out of criminals hands. It will eventually make criminals out of actual law abiding citizens!
