Why not use the death penalty for a deterrent to those who think they can murder? What a novel idea. If people realized there was consequences for their actions, we would have a lot less murder going on. And for those who do, we remove them from society permanently, problem solved.

At the rate that these so-called “peoples’ representives” are quietly and not so quietly attacking and eroding our basics rights, I fear that it won’t be many more years until we salute the “president” with “Sig Heil”. Not a good thing at all. Unfortunately, there are too many that are fast to jump on the “me too” wagon, and this will def. show that.

Yeah, like the Attorney General wants all these calls of lost guns. Really, this is not good legislation. There is a reason why people own guns. For us, it’s to have meat for the winter, and to stave off people who would brake into our home. Whoever wants to take away our privledges of gun ownership by placing all these ‘restrictions’ on us is taking away what power we have to ‘throw off such governments’ that would see us in poverty while the people in power are living a lavish life. This is exsactly what our forfathers DIDN’T want for us. Yes, there are people who misuse guns. No, the average law-abiding citizen should not get crimanalized for it.

Hopefully this one won’t even make it out of committee…even if it did make it to law…the supreme court would over turn it. At least as they sit now…

This bill would be the very thing this nation needs, if they want a second revolution. Just try and take more of our rights away and see what will happen. Not only will we not vote for any Political fat cat who votes for this bill but we will actively campaign against them. And If need be lead the second revolution against these Communist legislators.

“They” have already taken our First Amendment away, so I guess it’s time for “them” to take away the Second—-or do we as Americans stop this fascism now?

Not only does this bill impeded on our second amendment rights, it also severely oversteps the fourth amendment. Hopefully we will see our Democratic House make a sound decision when voting on this bill.

I agree with the above comments! The only people this law is going to HURT and HINDER are the law abiding citizens who lawfully own guns. The criminals will only gain a stronger hold on the Americans that can no longer protect themselves… and dialing 911 promotes investigation after a crime has already been committed!

One thing we don’t need is more restrictions on gun owners. Again, we find that the US Government is looking to impose laws that restrict those of us who are law-abiding citizens. If they think that a law of this nature will keep the criminals from having guns, they’re dead wrong. In each instance of gun restrictions, all we find is that the only people who have weapons are the criminals. Do we think that somehow criminals will see the light and turn in their weapons? No…only those of us who legally carry will be forced to abide or become criminals ourselves. Stay safe…stay armed.
