This bill is redundant, as Amendment 12 of the current forest plan prohibits land trades. Also, the local Red Rock Ranger District plans to keep Amendment 12 as part of the new forest plan. The local district is good at listening and acting on the wishes of the people locally. This just creates another layer of bureaucracy for our local Ranger District that is not needed. Our congress has more pressing issues to address like the failing financial systems and national debt. Even if the NSA would help promote property values, the current practices of banks only decrease that value, by refusing good offers on homes, letting them foreclose (putting people out of their homes), selling the property for $50,000 to $150,000 less than the good offers mentioned above, then collecting mortgage insurance (basically, bailout money). Close the loops on financial institutions who have still found a way to benefit from the bailout at the expense of the people. NSA not needed as much as this.
