Senate Approves One-Year Medicare Physician Fee Fix

8 approved by unanimous consent a bipartisan deal that would block this cut and freeze the physician fee update through 2011 at an estimated cost of $14.9 billion (HR 4994). The bill now goes to the House for consideration.
