This is economic terrorism. We don’t need more government regulation! The money for these expenses should not come from companies at this time of economic struggle. Why don’t they just build a fence? Are the defense contractors lobbying congress again? Bring home our National Guard and station them at the border—that will offset the expenditure. We’re already paying them, but we’re not receiving the benefit. What about imposing fees upon employers who hire illegal immigrants. Don’t punish us. Now the companies using those visas will just pass the higher cost to the consumer because they aren’t going to pay their chief officers any less. Get out of the market government. When government finally addresses a problem, its solutions only increase governmental size, scope, and strength. The options I suggested would work just as well WITHOUT increasing governments power inappropriately. Liberals want bring American jobs home instead of resolving the immigration issue. Solve the problem!
