    Congress’ toy. Jobs for their retirement. It’s now an agency and it’s getting more money like USIP and the Peace Department and soft powers lobby.

    While I think that the Smithsonian is a wonderful place to visit, I see no authority for it in Article 1, Section 8 of the US Constitution. Congress should sell it and use the proceeds to pay off the massive Federal debt.
