9/27/2010--Public Law. (This measure has not been amended since it was introduced. The summary of that version is repeated here.) Amends the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2010 relating to the authority of the Secretary of the Navy to enter into multiyear contracts for the procurement of F/A-18E, F/A-18F, and EA-18G aircraft to:(1) extend from March 1, 2010, to September 1, 2010, the required date of a certification by the Secretary of Defense (DOD) that certain contract conditions have been met; and
(2) provide that such contract authority shall be deemed to meet the requirement that a multiyear contract equal to or greater than $500 million may not be entered into unless the contract is specifically authorized by law and provided for in an appropriations Act.
