NO NO NO NO NO. TV is not essential. Stop spending money on this! If people are still using analog OTA, then let THEM buy a new DTV converter THEMSELVES! Too many people are buying these things just to play with them and its a complete waste of our money…
I’ve read all about the reasons for changing from analog to digital….but still don’t know why that should be a top priority when there’s so many other things wrong. I say leave it alone for a while. Get everybody working again and they’ll be buying new TV’s and won’t need the convertor box.
In addition to the fact that none of this DTV nonsense is authorized under Article 1, Section 8 of the US Constitution, I think we have wasted quite enough money on this scheme.
