    SEC. 3. GRANT PROGRAM.
    In order to complete the study described in section 2, the Attorney General may provide grants to law enforcement agencies to collect and submit the data described in section 2 to the appropriate agency as designated by the Attorney General.CommentsClose CommentsPermalink

    SEC. 6. AUTHORIZATION OF APPROPRIATIONS.
    There are authorized to be appropriated such sums as may be necessary to carry out this Act.

    Well, we just need to tie the hands of law enforcement a little more and they will do a better job. No, it gives the law breaker, of any color, a way to get out of going to jail. Now this is a law that will help the public by letting law breakers a way out. I am beginning to see that this ladies priorities are way out of whack.

    This should not be a federal law. They apparently have some local issues with law enforcement, so they should take care of that locally.

    I totally agree with you Bear, this should NOT be Federal Law. The ONLY issue with LOCAL law enforcement is that they do their job, enforcing immigration law and SOME don’t agree with that!

    STOP THE SPENDING!!!
