THIS BILL SHOULD BE IN LINE WITH OTHERS THAT SUPPORT PENSION AND MEDICAL BENEFITS IF REMARRIAGE OCCURS AT AGE 55. WIDOWS SHOULD NOT BE PENALIZED THEY HAVE SUFFERED ENOUGH.
Yes, I agree! I had to live with my deceaced husband’s service related medical problems for 30 years and now I have just met someone special and will still have to wait a year and a half before I can think about remarriage. This is not fair what the Veterans Administration is doing… probably just to squeeze a few more bucks for themselves instead of taking care of military widows.
